Our companionship services allow the home
client to have someone they can talk to. Most family members are very busy with
jobs and responsibilities, and often client feels lonely, or neglected. A
friendly person dropping by to visit can help alleviate these feelings of
loneliness.

When you are ill, or when you take daily
medications, and you cannot do the same activities you once did, you start to
feel useless, lonely, and depressed. By having a companionship in a few times a
week these feelings of loneliness and despair can be alleviated.

Our companionship staff can sit and chat
with the client about things the patient is interested in like gardens, their
pets, or anything that the client is passionate about. The client will start to
look forward to the visits because it brings a little joy back into their life
and makes them feel like someone is interested in them, and what they have to
say.
